Are prop firms regulated?

Updated over a week ago

FundingEra is not a regulated financial institution, as it does not hold or manage client funds, nor does it operate as a broker or investment service provider.

All trading activities within FundingEra take place in a simulated trading environment, designed exclusively for evaluation and educational purposes.

No live market capital is used, and no deposits are managed on behalf of traders.

While FundingEra itself is not subject to financial regulation, the company adheres to strict internal compliance standards, including AML (Anti Money Laundering), KYC (Know Your Customer), and data protection requirements aligned with international best practices.

In some cases, simulated trading data may be processed through or compared with regulated brokerage environments for liquidity and pricing accuracy but all trading within FundingEra remains virtual and non-investment in nature.

FundingEra’s mission is to provide a safe, transparent, and ethical trading ecosystem, focused on performance evaluation, education, and professional development, not financial intermediation or fund management.
