Program Overview
The 2 Step ERA Program is built to identify traders who are consistent, disciplined, and skilled.
It includes:
ERA Phase 1 (Evaluation Stage 1)
ERA Phase 2 (Evaluation Stage 2)
Master Account
1. ERA – Phase 1
This is the first evaluation stage. Before receiving a funded account, you must demonstrate responsible trading and proper risk management.
Trading Objectives – Phase 1
Profit Target: 10%
Maximum Daily Drawdown: 5%
Maximum Overall Drawdown: 10%
Minimum Profitable Days: 3 days with at least +0.5% gain each
Time Limit: No time limit to complete objectives
Once all objectives are achieved and verified, the account will automatically progress to ERA – Phase 2 at the end of the trading day.
2. ERA – Phase 2
The second evaluation stage focuses on consistency, discipline, and stable trade execution.
Trading Objectives – Phase 2
Profit Target: 5%
Maximum Daily Drawdown: 5%
Maximum Overall Drawdown: 10%
Minimum Profitable Days: 3 days with at least +0.5% gain each
Time Limit: No time limit to complete objectives
After passing Phase 2 and completing KYC, you will receive your Funded Account. The onboarding process may take up to 3 business days.
3. Master Account Phase
After successfully completing both evaluation stages, traders receive a live funded account.
Funded Account Details
Profit Split: 80% to the trader / 20% to FundingEra
Payout Frequency: Every 14 days after your first trade
Minimum Profitable Days: 3 days with at least +0.5% gain each
Maximum Daily Drawdown: 5%
Maximum Overall Drawdown: 10%
Maximum Risk per Trade Idea: 2% (exceeding this results in a hard breach)
Minimum Holding Time: 1 minute per position (closing earlier results in a soft breach; repeated violations may escalate to a hard breach)

4. Loss Limits
Maximum Loss Limit (Overall Drawdown)
The Maximum Loss Limit represents the lowest level your equity or balance can reach before triggering a hard breach.
Overall Drawdown: 10% of the initial balance
Falling below this level results in an instant Hard Breach and account closure.
Example:
Starting balance: $100,000 → Minimum allowed equity/balance: $90,000.
Daily Loss Limit (Daily Drawdown)
The Daily Loss Limit is the maximum amount you can lose in a single trading day.
Calculated from the higher value between starting balance or equity at the start of the day.
Daily Drawdown: 5%
The limit resets every 24 hours (server time).
Exceeding it results in a Hard Breach.
Example 1 (Higher Equity):
Balance: $105,000
Equity: $107,000 → base is $107,000
Allowed equity drop: not below $101,650.
Example 2 (Higher Balance):
Balance: $100,000
Equity: $99,000 → base is $100,000
Allowed equity drop: not below $95,000.
5. Trading Hours & News Rules
Holding Trades
Overnight and weekend holding allowed.
News Trading
Allowed during evaluation phases.
Restricted on Funded Accounts:
You may not open or close trades within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact news event.
Profits made during this restricted window may be removed.
6. Inactivity Rule
Accounts with no trades for 30 consecutive days will be breached and closed.
7. Minimum Profitable Days
Applies to all three phases:
At least 3 profitable days
Each profitable day must end at +0.5% or more
8. Prohibited Trading Behavior
(Instant Hard Breach)
The following are strictly prohibited:
Reverse trading or hedging across multiple accounts
Arbitrage or latency exploitation
Tick scalping
High-Frequency Trading (HFT)
Copy trading or shared/third-party EAs
Gambling behavior or over-leveraging
Any manipulation or unrealistic trading patterns
Violating any of these rules results in immediate account termination.
9. Consistency & Best Practices
FundingEra aims to reward disciplined traders, not high-risk behavior.
Recommended practices:
Keep risk per trade between 1-2%
Use stable and consistent lot sizes
Avoid emotional trading, revenge trades, or oversized positions
Focus on long-term trading process and consistency
